Owner and Principal Graphic Designer

Thank you for visiting my site. A little bit about me...

I was naturally drawn to Graphic Design when I was inspired by a birthday gift. I wanted to create a customized beer tap handle for a bar — but I was not sure of the first step. My background up until that point had been earning my B.A. in Psychology at Temple University, along with exploring Printmaking and Musical interests. In order to create this ideal birthday gift that I had envisioned, I realized I needed to summon the help of a trained professional. I hired a Graphic Designer at a local copy shop, and sat side-by-side with him, requesting fonts, colors, and graphics. We finally arrived at the final product: a logo which I then applied to the tap handle and custom branded leather coasters. When it came time to present this gift, I was so filled with anticipation, I could hardly wait. When the recipient opened this gift, we all shared in the excitement of how personal this item was — and how it fit with the feel of the bar. It was at that moment that I asked myself, "What was that? I want to do that again!!" I realized that was the beginning of my Graphic Design career.

Early on, my work was informed by my passion of hand-rendered stationery that I would create with artisanal papers and materials. Later I pursued professional training at Massachusetts College of Art & Design in Boston, Massachusetts. My next step was Kate's Paperie in Soho, New York City, where I worked on custom stationery with a wide range of clientele. That experience lead me to working for Miller Advertising in Union Square, New York City for 6 years. I greatly enjoyed being part of a team that created unique ad campaigns for real estate developers throughout the city.

Robin Jill Design now is a culmination of those chapters. Given my personal additional experience in Sales and Marketing, I now work with companies to build their brand — and get more attention to increase their business. Each day is an opportunity brimming with potential to grow your business!
